1. Scope of This Policy

This policy covers the Dropsheet subscription fee paid to Certo (Pty) Ltd via Paddle. It does not cover payments made between you (the contractor) and your own clients through Yoco or any other method — those are commercial arrangements between you and your clients, and Dropsheet is not a party to them.

2. How to Cancel Your Subscription

You can cancel your Dropsheet subscription at any time. Cancellation prevents future billing — it does not immediately end your access.

  • Via the customer portal: Go to Billing & Plan in the app and click "Open customer portal". This takes you to Paddle's self-service portal where you can cancel your subscription directly.
  • Via email: Email support@dropsheet.co.za with the subject line "Cancel subscription". Include the email address associated with your account. We will process the cancellation within 2 business days.

After cancellation, your account remains active until the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged again after that date.

3. Refund Eligibility

We assess refund requests on a case-by-case basis. Our general position is:

  • Within 7 days of a charge: If you contact us within 7 days of a subscription charge and have not made substantial use of the platform during that billing period, we will issue a full refund.
  • Technical failures: If a verified technical fault on our side prevented you from using the service for a meaningful portion of a billing period, we will issue a pro-rata refund or credit for the affected period.
  • Accidental double charges: Refunded immediately upon confirmation.
  • After 7 days: We generally do not offer refunds for the current billing period if you have been actively using the service. Cancelling will prevent future charges.

Free trial periods are not charged, so no refund applies to trials.

4. How to Request a Refund

Email support@dropsheet.co.za with:

  • The subject line: "Refund request"
  • The email address on your Dropsheet account
  • The date of the charge you are disputing
  • A brief description of the reason for the request

We aim to respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed by Paddle and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

5. What Happens to Your Data After Cancellation

Your data (quotes, invoices, signatures) remains accessible for 30 days after your subscription ends, in case you wish to export records or resubscribe. After 30 days, access to paid features will be restricted but your data will not be deleted unless you explicitly request account deletion.
