Dropsheet is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that enables South African tradespeople to create quotes, collect e-signatures, send invoices, and track payments. It is operated by Certo (Pty) Ltd ("we", "us", or "Dropsheet").
By creating an account and using Dropsheet, you ("User") agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must provide accurate information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@dropsheet.co.za if you suspect unauthorised access.
Each account is for use by a single business. You may not share your account credentials with persons outside your organisation.
Dropsheet is available on a monthly subscription basis. Subscription payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as Merchant of Record. By subscribing, you also agree to Paddle's terms of service (paddle.com/legal/terms).
New accounts include a free trial period (duration shown at sign-up). During the trial, you have full access to all features of the Solo plan. No payment information is required to start a trial.
At the end of the trial period, access to paid features will be restricted unless you subscribe. Trial accounts are limited to one per individual or business.
You agree not to use Dropsheet to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without refund.
You are the responsible party (as defined under POPIA) for the personal information of your clients that you enter into Dropsheet. You warrant that you have the right to enter and process that information.
E-signatures collected through Dropsheet use HMAC-signed tokens and IP logging to create an auditable record of acceptance. While we take reasonable technical steps to create a reliable signing record, we do not provide legal advice on the enforceability of e-signatures in your specific context. Consult an attorney if enforceability in a dispute is a concern.
The Dropsheet platform, including its software, design, and content, is owned by Certo (Pty) Ltd. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the platform for the purposes described in these terms.
You retain ownership of all content you create using Dropsheet (quotes, invoices, and related documents).
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where practicable. We are not liable for losses arising from service interruptions outside our reasonable control.
To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Dropsheet's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the subscription fees paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.
Dropsheet is not liable for: loss of profits; loss of data; indirect, special, or consequential damages; disputes between you and your own clients; or errors in financial documents that arise from information you entered.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will retain access until then. See our Refund Policy for details on refund eligibility.
We may terminate or suspend your account for breach of these terms, non-payment, or if we determine (in our sole discretion) that continued access poses a risk to us or other users. In such cases we will provide reasonable notice unless the breach is serious.
Upon termination, your right to access the service ceases. You may request a data export before terminating your account by contacting support@dropsheet.co.za.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
For questions about these terms, contact us at support@dropsheet.co.za.
